Art of Flavors

For dessert we went to the “ghetto” (per my brother) for some gelato at Art of Flavors. Found out about this place on Chowhound and it was worth the time went spent finding it. It is basically a little hole-in-the-wall gelato parlor located in a strip mall by a tattoo parlor and something else. The offer so many different kinds of gelato it is unreal. Several flavors are regulars but most rotate in and out depending on the day.

The owner and her staff are exceptionally nice and will let you sample as many flavors as you would like before you order. I tried so many and ended up settling on their Fior de Latte, which is the base for all of the gelatos. It looks like vanilla but the depth of flavor is so much more. I paired it with the Dark Chocolate, which was rich and amazing.

My brother got their Cioccolato e Peperoncino (chocolate with red chili) and the Caramello e sale (salted caramel). Both of them were great too.
