Le Cirque

For our nice dinner out we made early dinner reservations at Le Cirque. We went prior to seeing “O” so we chose the pre-theater menu. All the food was amazing, the service was unbelievable, the sommelier was funny and very knowledgeble.

The evening started with an amuse buche of a hibiscus flower, tomato, cucumber, and cilantro foam.

We also had bread options, I chose the rosemary focaccia and white chocolate walnut, served with house-made butter.

For my first course I ordered the seasonal risotto, which was a take on paella with calamari and cuttlefish. My brother ordered the escargot. Both we’re amazing.

Entree wise I chose the sea bass with braised leeks and a Pinot noir reduction while my brother had the fillet. Again, both were outstanding.

Dessert wise we both ordered the chocolate sphere which came out as a perfect dark chocolate ball that was encrusting a cool custardy ice cream. They drizzled it with steaming hot chocolate and hazelnut sauce. It was rich and divine. We were also served 4 small pastries and given a box of chocolate truffles.

The meal was amazing and the service was like nothing I had experience before. We were seated at table 93, which had a wonderful view of the Bellagio fountains. This meal and experience were exceptional and I would love to do it again sometime.
