Pitza 42…..man I love this restaurant! I love everything about it from the food, to the decor, the atmosphere, the friendly service, and most of all the message.
Pitza 42 is a small restaurant located in Conway, AR, near the campus of the University of Central Arkansas. They serve great tasting healthy food at affordable prices. And best of all when you purchase a meal you also feed a child a meal through Feed My Starving Children. Its like the Toms concept but for food!
Austin and Ashton (the owners) have really found their niche in the business and food world with Pitza 42. Their homemade pita pizza crust is amazing and their usage of healhty, fresh ingredients can’t be beat. They serve a variety of pita pizzas in 6 and 10 inch sizes, wraps, and salads. They even have a couple of dessert options.
My personal favorite salad that is always on the menu is their Saucy Clucker. It has Mixed lettuce, grilled chicken with BBQ sauce, cheddar and monterey jack cheese, black bean, corn, green bell pepper and tomato. I highly recommended with the house Nuevo Ranch. I haven’t had the Saucy Clucker pitza or wrap but I am sure they are just a good.
My favorite pitzas are the Pesto Chicken and Edgy Veggie. The Pesto Chicken is made with their homemade pita, homemade pesto base, mozzarella cheese, grilled chicken, red onion, tomatoes and topped with a balsamic glaze. The Edgy Veggie is super healthy and has red onion, green bell pepper, tomato, pineapple and jalapeno.
I have never eaten one of the wraps but I am sure they are just as good at the pitzas and salads. After you finish your main dish you much try the cookie dough pitza. It is warm gooey cookie dough on their homemade pita bread. Oh so yummy.
Bottom line is that Pitza 42 is good, wholesome, healthy food with a great mission. I highly recommend everyone try. And since Pitza 42 is so good, Austin and Ashton are working on a new venture with the same meal for meal concept. Check out Tacos 4 Life Grill!!!!! A new meal for meal concept restaurant with fresh, wholesome Mexican food. Austin and Ashton are in the process of crowdfunding for this venture so please contribute if you feel inclined.
